GSoC is a yearly event organized by Google in order to support the Open Source community around the world – by paying students to work during summer.

We would love to see students from Cluj getting more involved in international IT activities. Participating in GSoC is a great opportunity to improve your CV!

You can contact Codemart in case you need help applying for this program!

      Apply between March 16 - 31, 2020!

We've been participating in this program as mentors for years and would be more than happy to support you in answering questions about the program or structuring your application.

Enter the magical world of Neuroscience

If you know C++, Javascript or Python (via Jupyter Notebook), you can join a cutting-edge, international team of scientists working on The Virtual Brain (TVB), the leading brain simulator!

If you are accepted, Google will pay for you to work in the Open Source community during the summer (full time). You can work from any location of your choice!

From the TVB project list for GSoC 2020, Codemart will mentor the following:

      • No. 2: Geodesic calculations: upgrade and fix tvb-gdist C++ library
      • No. 3: Reusable visualization tools for Jupyter
      • No. 4: Web GUI for brain reconstruction pipeline
