      Learning brain simulation in Bilbao

As part of our work for the EBRAINS 2.0 EU Horizon project, our neuroscience specialist Romina will travel to Bilbao (Spain) and hold a practical hands-on session into The Virtual Brain (TVB) and the EBRAINS 2.0 infrastructure.

Romina will be official speaker at the Basque ASTROTECH Computational Neuroscience Meeting from June 4-6, 2024.

Don't miss her sessions on June 6:

      • The Virtual Brain (TVB) - Architectural view over a modeling tool for full brain simulation
      • Focus Session: How to Harness The Virtual Brain Capability

      The conference

This meeting is organized by the ASTROTECH network: they create and develop the field of Glial Engineering, to provide a consistent range of tools to record, study, and manipulate astrocytes in the healthy and diseased brain.

This is a unique workshop to learn state-of-the-art neural technologies and brain studies in the Basque Country, aimed at next-generation scientists and professionals in brain data analysis, mining, and simulation.

      Participants will:

      • get a conceptual introduction to the EBRAINS research infrastructure
      • learn about the core concepts of The Virtual Brain
      • learn how to interactively and programmatically explore and reuse data and software in EBRAINS Lab
      • learn how to launch a TVB simulation through EBRAINS Lab

      Feedback

If you attended this meeting, we would love to hear your feedback!
